Designed by clinicians, for clinicians, our slit lamp courses offer a full day of training with lectures, demonstrations and over two hours of workshop sessions. Delivered by highly skilled slit lamp specialists, including Mr Sunil Mamtora, the courses give direct access to industry experts who have a wealth of knowledge and experience. The hands-on workshop sessions give attendees the opportunity to examine live subjects using state-of-the-art imaging devices, including the Eyesi Slit Lamp virtual reality simulator, the new Imaging Module 910 and the BX 900 ‘photographer’s slit lamp’. The courses are also supported with pre- and post-course e-learning content.

The Slit Lamp Basic Skills Course coves the fundamentals of the slit lamp, with a live demo of how the slit lamp works, followed by more specialist examination techniques, including Goldmann applanation tonometry and fundoscopy principles.

The Slit Lamp Advanced Skills Course teaches the skills necessary to achieve superior results with the slit lamp, including identification of pathology, gonioscopy and slit lamp imaging techniques.

The courses have been approved for 6 CPD points by the Royal College of Ophthalmologists. Certificates will be awarded to delegates at the end of a course as evidence of attendance.
